Meet our team…
At Accessible Translation Solutions, we embrace and value quality and consistency. We know how important our clients’ translation projects are to their success. This is why we assign an account manager to every client. Someone who follows the life of a project from start to finish. Someone you can call on. Someone who takes your projects on as their own and with whom you can have a long-term business relationship. Someone who takes the stress of finding the right expert translators off your plate so that you can do what you do best and leave the language work to us.
Madalena Sánchez Zampaulo, Owner/CEO
Owner and Chief Executive Officer, Madalena Sánchez Zampaulo is not like most language service company owners. She is actually a translator herself. With her background in project management and her translation and interpreting experience, she opened ATS in 2010 and has maintained her own freelance practice through the years. Doing so allows her to fully understand both the needs of the client and the translation team. This type of perspective is vital to maintaining consistently beneficial client and service provider relationships, which is what she believes to be the secret to success. Madalena has had the opportunity to travel and work outside the United States on several occasions. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) and a Master of Arts Degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Linguistics from the University of Louisville (UofL). Madalena is currently serving her second term as a Director on the Board of the American Translators Association (ATA), and she is Chair of ATA's Membership Committee.
Translation Project Manager
Translation Project Manager, Stephanie Lockman, brings six years of program management experience from her work at ACCENT Marketing to ATS. Stephanie holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Louisville (UofL). She also earned her Master’s degree in Spanish from UofL with a Graduate Certificate in Translation. Stephanie has traveled outside of the United States several times to help continue her education as well. For the past ten years, Stephanie has often volunteered at the William S. Culbertson Mansion in New Albany, IN to help raise money for the restoration of the historic mansion.
